The Great Gatsby Final Essay Topics

The Great Gatsby Final Essay TopicsIt's no secret that the great Gatsby is going to be on the final essay as many students are working on their papers this year. However, what exactly should you be writing about? In fact, Gatsby's story really isn't all that unique. People who have come from lower social classes have always wanted to be rich. In many cases, when they are wealthy, they feel entitled to everything and get into many problems. The reason is that they don't want to be dependent on anyone for anything. They would rather make the most money they can afford than depend on someone else. Sometimes these people work hard, but never really achieve the kind of success they had in life.Of course, Gatsby is just as much of a problem. He was wealthy but constantly broke, always wanting more money. He always wanted the things that rich people had.His friends were all successful, but he wanted to be like them and wanted to become rich too. He didn't actually need to become rich, but wou ld only use his money for personal purposes. Eventually, he ran into trouble with the law and wound up being imprisoned. Now, Gatsby is in jail and may very well have to go back to college. His only true friend is Daisy, but he feels that she is somehow dishonest. The two will be at each other's throats until someone does something to change the situation. In fact, it is in jail that we can see the struggles that students will go through when looking for good places to work. In this day and age, many students are eager to work, but not necessarily the right kind of jobs. They're looking for a job that is highly satisfying and takes them away from home a few hours every week. When writing the final essay, consider the similarities between Gatsby in prison. Because Gatsby's problems are so personal, look for some similarities in this final topic as well. Gatsby is in prison, so, let's work together to help them.
